DIY Donut Card

For those of you who know me or follow me on Instagram you probably already know how much I love to make cards. So naturally I was making my friend a birthday card when I had to idea for the ultimate card. A DONUT CARD. I loved making this card so much I decided to share it with you guys!

Supplies:
Pencil
Glue (Im using the Tombow MONO Permanent Adhesive Applicator)
Scissors
Craft Knife
Brown Paper
Colorful Paper
Optional:
Cutting Mat
Ruler
A dope TV show to binge while DIYing (I'm current catching up on Vinyl on HBO)

Step One: Fold the brown paper in half.

Step Two: Make a large circle on the paper. I used the bottom of my globe.

Step Three: Cut it out. Make sure not to cut off the folded edge or else you'll end up with two separate pieces of paper.

Step Four: Trace the same size circle on the pink paper.

Step Five: Create "icing" lines inside the large pink circle.

Step Six: Cut out the "icing"

Step Seven: Glue the pink "icing" onto the brown "donut"

Step Eight:  Draw a small circle in the middle of the "donut". I used the cap of my makeup setting spray to get the right sized circle.

Step Nine: Cut out the small circle using a craft knife. This is the hardest part, so take your time and go slowly.

Step Ten: Cut 1/4" strips of paper.

Step Eleven: Cut the strips into 1/2" "sprinkles".

Step Twelve: Glue the "sprinkles" onto the donut.

Step Thirteen: Enjoy!

Let me know if you end up making this!

XO,
Jasmine
